Frequently Asked Questions About The Link University City

What utilities are included in rent?

At The Link University City, your rent includes an apartment designed just for you with furnishings, floor plan, and amenities any student or young professional could ask for. Rent also includes your trash, sewer, and water costs. We do cover the first $25 of usage per person in the apartment. If an overage is used, it is divided amongst roommates and billed separately in their Resident Portal.

Are apartments furnished?

Absolutely. Our apartments connect you with high-end furniture in every room, making move-in a breeze. Take a look at our amenities page to see what comes included in each room!

The Link takes security up a notch with video doorbells that you can answer from your mobile device. We also have a 24-hour emergency presence on-site.

What is an individual lease?

An individual lease is a lease signed by only one resident. Traditionally, all the roommates in a unit sign one lease and are therefore responsible for one single rent payment each month. When you sign an individual lease at The Link, you’re only responsible for your portion of the rent each month!

Will I need a guarantor?

What is a guarantor? A guarantor is a third party, often a parent or guardian, who signs a guaranty form, which ensures the timely payment of rent each month. Is a guarantor required? No, we don't require guarantors as long as the resident meets the income and credit requirements. However, most students will find that they need a guarantor. For more information, contact our leasing office.
